The Castle of Donnafugata is a few kilometres from Ragusa. It is surrounded by a huge park where beautiful age-old carob trees can be found. Enchanted by the beauty of the place, the film director Luchino Visconti chose the castle as one of the locations for the famous film “The Leopard”.
